Room Hire

185 is a welcoming, inclusive space in the heart of Mile Cross, Norwich. The Common Lot coordinates a varied programme of free, creative activities for local people. 

Outside of our programmed hours, 185 is available for hire. Bookings can be made in person, by phone or by email.

We offer subsidised rates for grass roots and non-profit organisations, groups and individuals. We are always happy to have a chat if money is a barrier.

We have two rooms available. We can create a variety of seating arrangements for your event.

Facilities:

185 is a facilitated space. This means when you rent the venue there will be someone available to let you in and look after you during your visit. The fee helps cover this facilitator.

*We're currently making a new theatre show and the Back Room is currently unavailable until September 2025.
